In partnership with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, the Fayette County Solid Waste Authority hosts a tire collection on the third Thursday of each month in the Fayetteville Walmart parking lot.

Often, individuals can save disposal and hauling fees by recycling various items that would normally become refuse that is piled up in a landfill for centuries or longer, depending on the type of waste that is disposed of. Additionally, do-it-yourself (DIY) recycling projects can yield useful everyday items and solutions that can lead to savings. Click here for more information on recycling and DIY projects.
